NewsMaps

Original NEWSMAPS from World War II

This was one way the news of the fighting
was delivered to the people back home.
With these maps the loved ones at home
could get a feeling of where their loved ones
might be and what they might be doing.

A new NEWSMAP was published each week.

Each 45" x 37" NEWSMAP usually had photographs
of the action on one side, with a story about
that week of the war and a map/maps on the other side
illustrating the Allied Forces advances of the past week.
