Sugar Land Stables is a full board facility located just off Highway 6. With a veterinary clinic at the entrance which is via an automatic gate, Sugar Land Stables provides a sense of safety and security to all its boarders.
Currently, 36 stalls, some double-size, are available for boarding, with plans for another 20. The stabling areas have high open roofs to provide excellent ventilation and promote a healthy environment. The 100' x 200' lighted indoor arena is located in a separate area so dust is kept away from the horses as much as possible. The arena is available for rental for one-day events and shows.
Weather permitting, all horses are turned out daily, and the manager and veterinarian
reside on the property. Your choice of oats, pellets, sweet feed, or a mixture
is fed twice daily as is quality Bermuda-grass hay. Wall-mounted saddle racks
are located in the tack room and there is a bathroom facility with shower available
for boarders.

in Dressage, Hunter/Jumper and Combined Training. Lessons for
children and adults, from beginners through advanced levels on their own horses
or school horses. Resident Pony Club chapter. Activities include
summer camps for youngsters, adult workshops, riding clinics, and special events
featuring Equestrian authorities from the U.S and Europe.
Boarding in 12' x 12' stalls with daily cleaning and turnout
in individual paddocks. Friendly atmosphere, ample grooming
stalls, wash racks, and tack rooms. Amenities include 125' x 225' lighted, covered
arena with sound system for everyday riding and lessons. Permanent, lighted,
regulation Dressage arena, dedicated stadium jumping arena, field with cross
country obstacles, free jumping arena, and various other riding paddocks and
round pens.
Founder is German FN certified, Paul Kathen, voted 1998 Horseman of the Year for USDF's five (5) state Region 9. He holds bronze and silver medals for riding in America and Germany, and has attracted an impressive staff of British Horse Society instructor/trainers headed by Jo Hancock, with international teaching and competition experience in Three Day Eventing, Dressage and Show Jumping.

hay supply, New Mexico alfalfa guaranteed against blister beetles. Individualized
diets and horse care plans.
Amenities: Owner lives on premises; tack shop on premises; trailer parking available; space for boarders in shared tack room; summer stall fans; winter blanketing and un-blanketing included.
